“And the child Samuel grew, and was in favour both with the Lord, and also with men.” (1 Samuel 2:26 KJV)
The fourth pillar of the spirit of wisdom is development! Development is key to activating the spirit of wisdom. Development is the act or process of growth. It involves causing something to grow or become larger or more advanced. Nothing grows or becomes productive until it has been developed.
You developed those things working presently in your life. Those things you are not getting results from are the things you have not developed. When Samuel developed, he encountered favour with God and man.
To DEVELOP means;
D-decide to go for training( in a school, skill acquisition centre,via e-learning etc) and acquire more skills.
E-exploit (take advantage by attending and participate) every available developmental and creative seminar.
V-view life as a place of learning and schooling
E-ensure that you imbibe the habit of reading books. In addition, seek wise godly counsel in everything you want to do.
L-learn something new daily.
O-only surround yourself with those who place value on development.
P-pay any price for development.
Help us LORD to develop ourselves daily in order to be productive, favoured and fulfilled by the Spirit of wisdom.
“…And the child Samuel grew, and was in favour both with the Lord, and also with men.” (1 Samuel 2:26 KJV)
Every aspect of your life requires some form of development for perfect performance. Development qualifies you to be the best. When the children of Israel needed deliverance from Egypt and cried to God, the answer was a combination of diligence and development. Moses was born and spent forty years learning the wisdom of Egypt until he became a general in the Egyptian army. (Acts 7:22-23 KJV ).
God took Moses through a forty year developmental process before calling and sending him to fulfil destiny. As if that was not enough, God allowed Moses to go through the “university of wilderness” for another forty years. Moses went through this entire process of developmental wisdom. You cannot gain access to the spirit of wisdom if you are not ready to be developed (Acts 7:30 KJV).
God used eighty years to develop Moses. No wonder no one was more qualified to lead Israel out of the land of Egypt . Do you want to be a leader in your generation ? Enrol in the school of development. One would have expected that since Jesus is God incarnate, there would be no need for development but it will shock you that it took thirty years of development for Jesus to be ready for His ministry which lasted three and a half years.
Apostle Paul also went through a three year developmental procedure before his ministry commenced. (Galatians 1:17-18 KJV)
God cannot use undeveloped people because wisdom is not found in the surface but in depth of development. You need to develop yourself if you want to make impact in life.
Be developed in Jesus Christ’s Name!
