Gaise Baba releases a 13 track album project, “God Is Cooking,” marking another significant chapter in the Afrogospel artist creative journey. This studio album brings together faith, contemporary African sounds, and thoughtful storytelling in a concept built around the idea of a “13 course meal.”
Several songs from the project had already attracted attention before the full album arrived. “No Turning BACK II,” “We Outside,” and “Yield” gave listeners an early taste of the direction Gaise Baba was taking. Those releases helped build anticipation for the complete project and offered glimpses of the sound and message behind “God Is Cooking.”
The album follows Gaise Baba’s previous major projects, including his 13 song body of work “A Decade After,” released in 2022, and the “Live in Lagos” album, which arrived in 2023.
