Riser House/Columbia Nashville #1 hitmaker Mitchell Tenpenny enlisted the help of Grammy-nominated performer Danny Gokey to record a new version of his smash hit “Bucket List.” The two powerhouse vocalists, who connected through a mutual friend, spar it out on the refreshed track available today.
The song, written by Mitchell, Chris DeStefano and Laura Veltz, was originally released one year ago on New Year’s Day 2021. The “Bucket List” (lyrics here) original version is included Mitchell’s current EP Midtown Diaries that was released in September. Get the Mitchell/Danny version HERE.
The singers carved out time from their busy schedules this month to shoot a music video for “Bucket List” at the Melrose Church at Fiddlers Grove in Wilson County, Tenn. The film was shot with Director Tristan Cusick. Watch it below.
I’mma love a little more
Dream a little deeper
Leave all the leavers
Keep all the keepers
Find peace of mind
In the time the good Lord gives
I’mma cross one off
Put two more on it
Say I love you ‘fore the moments gone
And never have to ask myself what if
When I get to the bottom of my bucket list
