5x Grammy-nominated artist Matthew West is celebrating release week with more new music. “Hard Season” is out today alongside the official music video. “’Hard Season’ was one of the first songs I wrote on #MyStoryYourGlory, before it was a double album. Before I had 22 songs and I had just canceled my show on March 12th, 2020. So, instead of sitting idly by, I went into the studio that night and wrote #HardSeason.” West posted on social media.
He continued, “The #HardSeason music video plays out against the backdrop of dark storm footage that showcases the reality of the pandemic, when all of our dreams felt like they went up in smoke. Sometimes, God delivers us out of hard seasons.”
