Rico Gq is an inspirational Urban Afro-Gospel singer, songwriter, recording Artist, Drummer, Percussionist, Choreographer, and Composer. Rico Gq extremely versatile stemming from his exposure to Playing wide repertoire of styles from Gospel, Jazz to Soul and Afro-centric Music.
Rico developed his interest for music at the age of 4 and started singing in the Church choir at the age of 5, all his Musical training came from Playing at Church.Rico Gq has performed solo ‘or’ with a full band at various events and functions including Golden Jubilee Celebrations in 2000 at Buckingham Palace hosted by the Royal Family.
He has had the opportunity to perform with the great violinist Omar Puerte amongst many other acts. Has performed at The Queen Elizabeth hall, The Royal Festival hall, The Royal hall Harrogate and so many other prestigious venues in UK & Overseas.
