Fasting rising gospel singer Marlene Oko is back with a powerful single titled “NZAMBE YA BA SOLUTIONS” which translates as (The God Of Solutions,) off her debut album, NAZA NZAMBE.
Marlene Oko was born in Congo Kinshasa, she is the youngest of a family of six children. She is the twin sister of Lydie Mbingo, Marlene Oko is a Congolese singer-songwriter, party planner and choreographer.
At the age of 8, she started composing songs in Kinshasa. Despite her very young age, at 12, she sang the branch in church with Pastor Emma Kama in Kinshasa. Marlene has been attending a branch church since she was young, truly opening her heart to Jesus and accepting him as Lord and Savior of her soul. She was baptized and since then. she has continued to follow him and confide in him. The intimacy she shares with the Lord no longer needs to be demonstrated if we take the time to follow the cantor’s ministry.
She has an album and numerous singles. There are among others Nzambe Apesi yo, Lumbu Bionso, My Prayer, in July 2023 the Belnews TV channel published the portrait of Marlene Oko, and in August 2013 she gave a concert in Congo Brazza at the MONT church -CARMEL at Pastor Igor Nkoua.
Marlene is married to Gabin Oko, they have 4 children. And lives in Belgium. Since she was little, Marlene has continued to nurture a deep love for gospel music. She began singing in the church choir at a young age. The love she has for the gospel and its God pushes her to commit to the career. She released her first single “Naza Nzambe” as well as “Yanola Nga”, and “Na Lela Nanani,” at 14 years old Marlene left Congo Kinshasa to continue her studies in Belgium and Germany.
Adoratrice Marlene is currently working with Michael Orugbe who is her manager and advisor in Nigeria, and he takes care of her songs on Mixtape promotion via “Uprightentertainment28 and on AIT NATIONAL TV). Antennas A takes care of her songs in Congo Kinshasa.
