Psalm Ebube releases yet another New song “Mary’s Baby Boy” for this season, as he gear-up towards the release of a Double album in the first quarter of 2019.
This time, Psalm is bringing us glad tidings of the message of the birth of the Christ. It is a season of love, a season to share, a season of hope and of joy.
The double album, Revealing Jesus Vol I & II is highly anticipated as the award-winning singer has been churning songs from this next work which will be his 4th and 5th studio album.
Over the period of preparing for this album, the Ka Bio O si crooner has released four amazing songs which include One Love, One World (A world peace initiative song) featuring Asikey, he went futher to drop the praise jam song Kilojasi alongside with love inspired song Ololufe Mi (Wedding Party).
As a matter of fact, around this time of last year (2017), Psalm Ebube dropped a festive song Odunayo (Joyous Year) to celebrate the year-end with prophetic declarations that launch us into 2018. It isn’t a surprise that 2018 remained a blissful year for so much of his fans and the song Odunayo is still very much trending now.
You’ve heard a lot of Christmas tunes, but wait.. there’s a difference. I could actually tell you about the beautiful vocals with harmony and the amazing production and mastering from Mikky Me on this song, but it’s actually more than that.
I could as well mention of the quotable lyrics that make the message sticks on your heart beyond the season of Christmas, but there’s yet more.
What is more to this song is the life it carries, the message of hope and reassurance, that gives confidence and makes one rejoice in the finish work of Christ.
Listen to the song and testify.
LYRICS: Psalm Ebube – Mary’s Baby Boy
See the lights are fading
And the stars are shining now
Mary’s baby boy
Was given to us…just to save humanity..
From the east the wise men
Brought gifts to please him
For a king was born to us
They brought him gold, myrrh and frankincense
For our king is born
Merry Merry christmas
to you and your kins
Good tidings we bring
To you and yours
For a king is born to us…
Mary’s baby boy
So cute and handsome
In the manger where he laid
He’s our prince of peace
And He came to ease
Our pain and our shame
Make haste to meet him
Make haste to greet him
For a king is born to us.
They called him wonderful
For a king is born…
Oh… it’s time to celebrate
