KDJ is a contemporary Nigerian Gospel Rapper, Singer, Preacher, Motivational Speaker and drummer. Once a secular artiste performing in Nightclubs all around Lagos, but now a full gospel music minister.
Kayode Davies J Olushola known as KDJ was born in Kaduna State and got born again in Ota, Ogun State, and from his teenage, he has functioned as a Church Drummer, Teens Sunday School Teacher, Youth Sunday School Teacher, Bible Study teacher in different churches in Nigeria, Dubai, and Philippines, in Lifegate International church Lagos and Ota, The Prevailing Chapel Ota, Gospel Faith Mission Dubai, Living Faith Church Dubai, and Jesus Christ Glorious Kingdom Church Philippines.
KDJ is known for his Biblical rap punchlines, highly anointed hooks, and chorus and spirit-filled live ministrations which distinguishes him from regular gospel rap and/or secular music.
In 2017, KDJ’s single “If No Be God”, whose video was shot in Dubai by Filipino film director Albert Gayo, made it to the Semifinals of Miami Film Fest. The success of the single further propelled a follow-up video where KDJ met his wife.
In March 2018, KDJ got married to Dubai-based Filipino worship leader Arlene. Together, they have ministered in churches in Dubai and in the Philippines, and in Nigeria.
KDJ has featured as a guest on two shows on TBN Asia, and has ministered/shared the stage with two Philippine Governors and Nigeria’s Ambassador to the Philippines in 2022.
In 2022, he finished the ‘re-mixing’ of a 7-track album which has hit singles like All Things Are Possible which is available for streaming and download in all digital stores.
The song All Things Are Possible is a fusion of Hip-hop and RnB curled from Hebrews 11, Philippians 4:19 and highly motivational verses capable of inspiring anyone including unbelievers to greatness.
