Muyiwa Gabriel (born June 5) is a Nigerian gospel music minister, singer, songwriter, recording artist, and soundtrack composer based in Ibadan, Oyo State, Nigeria. He hails from Owo Local Government Area of Ondo State.
His musical journey began in 2011 as an Afrobeat artist, during which he released several songs and built a strong presence in the Nigerian entertainment industry. In 2013, he received nominations at the Nigerian Music Video Awards (NMVA) in the categories of Best Afrobeat and Best Indigenous Concept, marking him as one of the promising talents of his generation.
Beyond his recording career, Muyiwa Gabriel established himself as a respected soundtrack composer in the Nigerian film industry. Over the years, he has created soundtracks for numerous Nollywood blockbuster movies, collaborating with many of Nigeria’s leading actors, actresses, directors, and producers. His soundtrack credits include Babatunde Ishola Folorunso produced by Odunlade Adekola, Survival of Jelili by Femi Adebayo, 77 Bullet by Mercy Aigbe, Modorisha by Kemi Afolabi, Aje Oja by Faithia Williams (Faith Balogun), Listening Hears by Toyin Abraham, and Wale Danger by Lateef Adedimeji. He has also contributed soundtracks to productions involving Iyabo Ojo, Muyiwa Ademola, and many other respected figures in Nollywood across comedy, drama, and action films.
In 2021, after dedicating his life to Jesus Christ, Muyiwa Gabriel experienced a life-changing transformation and answered God’s call into gospel music ministry. This marked a new beginning for his career, leading him to devote his gifts entirely to spreading the Gospel through music.
