Young people, you must know God for yourself.” You can’t continue to live on your mother’s faith. You can’t keep hanging on your father’s prayer. There are some fights that require you to have a personal relationship with God. When you’ve had a personal encounter with the Lord, you are able to fuel your faith in times of trouble with His faithfulness.
“LORD, you are my God; I will exalt you and praise your name, for in perfect faithfulness you have done wonderful things, things planned long ago.” (Isaiah 25:1)
When God is YOUR God, you can combat every attack of the enemy with what God has done for you. You may have gotten to this point on what God has done for your parents, but in this next level, you’ll be able to pull on what God has done for YOU.
God is the same yesterday, today, and forever. If He can do it for your parents, He will do it for you.
