“You can’t expect people to have allegiance to something they haven’t been exposed to.” Leaders, if you are the only one in the place that has caught the vision, you have a problem. Your staff must see and believe in the vision as well for it to succeed.
“And the LORD answered me, and said, Write the vision, and make it plain upon tables, that he may run that readeth it.” (Habakkuk 2:2) The Lord tells Habakkuk to write the vision on tablets not for Habakkuk to read it, but for someone else to read it and run with it.
If your vision isn’t written down clearly, how can your team run with it? When God gives us a vision for a ministry or business, it’s easy to just assume that whoever you bring on to help you will just understand and run with it. But God didn’t give them the vision, He gave it to you.
Whatever vision God has graced you with, be a good steward of it and learn to communicate it effectively to those helping you so that your vision can become theirs.
