Oyesade Oyekole Gabriel, popularly known as Oye Gabriel, is a Nigerian gospel music minister, songwriter, worship leader, recording artist, speaker, mentor, entrepreneur, and AI video creator. Born into a royal family in Ijebu Igbo, Ogun State, she is passionate about leading people into life-changing encounters with God through worship while promoting healing, hope, and purposeful living.
Oye Gabriel began singing at the age of seven and has remained committed to using music as a tool for transformation. Her growing catalogue includes Gbakoso (YouTube), Fill This Space (YouTube), the Yours Forever EP (Spotify), and Yio Se (It Shall Come to Pass) featuring OKIKIOLUWALARAMI, a worship song centered on wholehearted devotion and reverence to God. She has also released other spirit-filled songs as free downloads. Over the years, she has shared the stage with renowned gospel ministers including Judikay, Moses Bliss, Prosper Ochimana, Yinka Alaseyori, and many others. In 2018, she received her first Gospel Music Award from 100 Percent Gospel Media.
She is the visionary behind Healing in Worship, a unique worship event that combines spirit-filled worship with mental health therapy, physical wellness sessions such as speed massage, music, and spoken word, creating an atmosphere of healing and restoration.
Beyond ministry, Oye Gabriel is a mentor to many young people, worshippers, and creatives. She began her entrepreneurial journey as a professional makeup artist in 2016 before expanding into multiple businesses. She is the founder of Oye’s Place, a beauty brand offering salon and spa services, the owner of Oye’s Eyewear, and a professional AI video creator and trainer.
Oye Gabriel lived in Abuja for seventeen years before relocating to Lagos in 2023. She worships at Petra Christian Centre under the leadership of Pastor Ayo Ajani.
She is happily married to Mr. Gabriel, who hails from Cross River State. He is a professional sound and audio engineer, computer engineer, and music producer who has contributed to numerous recording and production projects for renowned artists and music professionals within the Nigerian music industry.
