KEY VERSE: “Let them shout for joy, and be glad, that favour my righteous cause: yea, let them say continually, Let the LORD be magnified, which hath pleasure in the prosperity of his servant” (Psalm 35:27).
One of the things people are passionate about is seeing God bless them in life. If we want God to bless us, we must seek and believe Him for success and prosperity in our work, because our work is His work. It is important to magnify and pray for God’s abundant blessings upon all that you do. In Psalm 35:27, the Scripture tells us, “let the Lord be magnified which hath pleasure in the prosperity of His servant.”
The Hebrew word “prosperity” can be translated as “peace” or “shalom,” which means “completeness; safety and soundness; welfare, health and prosperity; quietness, tranquility and contentment; peace in friendship and relationship, with God and man.” Strive to make great the name of God and He will get pleasure in facilitating your prosperity, complete success and blessing. God wants you to know that He delights in your well-being or prosperity, and it pleases Him when He sees you “prosper” and are in “shalom.” That is why it delights Him to make you prosper. But, on a daily basis, you must magnify God in your work, if you must live in peace.
Challenge: Are you passionate about seeing God bless you in life?
Prayer: O Lord, grant me peace in my friendship with you and man.
Quote: Magnify God in your work
