She wrote;

We must all lend our voices!

Women and even men, please if you are going through any kind of Abuse- Be it physical, emotional, psychological or physical, please and please, Speak up and tell someone. Don’t stop shouting for help until help and solution comes!

Fear cripples and it is fear that keeps people silenced. But God has not given us the Spirit of Fear but of Power, of Love and of a Sound mind.

Where there is no counsel, the people fall; But in the multitude of counselors there is SAFETY!

Pastors, Marriage Counselors, Family Elders, Customary Courts, Family Members, Mentors, Friends, let’s all please take note. “WE ARE” part of the multitude of counsellors for someone out there. Let’s do away with judging people and be more welcoming! You could be saving saving someone’s life!

Young Men & Women please learn a skill or a trade if you don’t have any formal education. Get empowered. Try to have and SAVE your own money so that you can be independent. PRAY and seek GODLY counsel.

People whose temperament is PHLEGMATIC or MELANCHOLY, you are most likely introverts who don’t naturally talk. So speaking out might be difficult if you find yourself in abusive relationships. And you’re most likely going to be worried about people’s perception of you if you take a decision to LEAVE. i.e “What will people say?etc. Please get yourself a SANGUINE OR CHOLERIC friend who is a talker and who can speak out on your behalf and snatch you out of your pain, if they need to! The truth is if you leave, human beings will talk. If you don’t leave and you die, they will still judge you when you’re gone. So please, seek HELP and FLEE if you’re being abused! At least until the abuser is fixed and God intervenes.

I pray that God helps us to continue to talk about and fight against these issues, not just for now but from time to time until this evil of domestic violence is completely done away with! Until our marriages and homes are restored to God’s original intention.

May God help us all. Amen
