LOVE INSPIRATION (Singles and Married Forum) JANUARY 2019 EDITION VOLUME III.
Excellent day and a Greater New Year People!
When singles get hooked up by a guy, the first thing they do is to get intimate claiming they want to know each other better. That’s a very wrong way to build a relationship. Sometimes, singles or everyone else will go a great length and even make complete fool out of themselves to get close the opposite sex. Why? It is could be our innate desires for sex, the feeling of loneliness, being desperate, stupidity, etc Yes; maybe but the answer is what I’ll be talking about today and although the month.
Intimacy is an atmosphere of closeness and openness towards someone else. This involves the mingling of life with another, sharing our hearts. We were designed by God to easily connect with one another. This is something we all long for because it is how we are created. Intimacy is much more than sex. Sex is just a part of intimate expression, a beautiful and most intimate expression but it is not intimacy as it is not a proof of love.
Real intimacy starts from the heart and pierce through the soul with a sense of fulfillment. Intimacy makes us feel alive and gives a sense of completeness which begins with you. It can begin when you know yourself, discovering yourself is your greatest asset in life; know who you are and what you want.
Few years ago, I gave my husband a little lecture about intimacy during his professional exams. “You’ve to love all the courses, all your lecturers and everything about the exam for you to pass with ease” I said. That was all he needed and he passed all the papers. We all need intimacy to get the best of our desires.
