Excellent Day People!

Topic: FORGIVENESS

Every marriage and relationships need forgiveness to survive. Everyone make mistakes. There are good and bad days. Sometimes, we say things we do not mean. So, everyone needs to forgive and be forgiven to build a strong and lasting marriage relationship. I must say if everyone will take forgiveness to heart, there’ll be less misunderstanding in relationships which will automatically reduce the divorce rate in the society nowadays.

Forgiveness means letting go of your anger. It is the action of forgiving or readiness to forgive. It is being kind to you to enable a healing process after a severe hurt or misunderstanding. This is a step in the right direction which involves being able to make a decision to put up with your partner.

Forgiving your partner when they’ve done something to upset you can be one of the most difficult things to do in a relationship. This can be very difficult when the feeling of anger and disappointment or betrayal is still fresh in your heart. You may think that the idea of forgiving or letting go actually means you’ve lost and your partner won. Nonetheless, being able to forgive is a way to keep you healthy both emotionally and physically. It is a critical tool for your marriage relationship. Anger can eat deep into you and even affect your attitude towards relationships in the future, giving you a sense of distrust therefore, embrace forgiveness, embrace peace, heal your mind and enjoy your relationship.
