Topic: HEART BREAK – Part two
In our last article, we talked about how heart break as led to suicides which is on a high increase in the society nowadays. Heartbreak is a term used to describe crushing grief, anguish, and distress, often due to the pains and strains of love. It can be so intense that sometimes, it feels the same as physical pain. Now, depression follows after a severe heart break which results to low self esteem in some cases. A broken relationship doesn’t lead to suicide on its own; it actually makes people more vulnerable to emotional problems such as depression.
Depression is a low state of the mind, a period of low morale or unhappiness. When you start feeling sorry for yourself, it goes together with depression. It is a passage to suicide or self destruction. This is a problem that needs urgent attention and we need to deal with it. The bible says in Isaiah 40:10 “Don’t be afraid, for I am with you. Don’t be discouraged, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you. I will hold you up with my victorious right hand.”
