Excellent day People! Love Inspiration July Edition Volume II with Pastor Fiefa Micah
From our previous article, the young man decided to settle with the most beautiful and attractive lady; her physical appearance motivated his decision. He didn’t take it to God in prayer or seek Godly counsel, he was bold to follow his optical mindset.
This story truly portraits the decisions of many young men and women nowadays, they follow what they see: optical mindset when seeking for a life partner. Now, this brings us to our topic today for this week’s article.
YOUR APPEARANCE: Dress for the occasion.
What is appearance: It is the act of appearing in a particular place or society in a particular character. The manner in which a man or a woman presents his or her self has a lot to do with the way you’re addressed; the character of a person defines who you are.
1Peter 2:9 ‘But ye are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, an holy nature, a peculiar people…’
You’re God’s creation; the most cherished & celebrated of all God creation. You’re a special person. Develop a consciousness that you’re not an ordinary person and hence you need to look good in appearance/ character, you’re peculiar to God. Always dress for the occasion and dress the way you want to be addressed.
In addition, a young lady came to me a couple of weeks ago and said, Pastor Ma, a guy is asking me out, he seems serious but I don’t like his physical appearance. Hmmm! What don’t you like about his physical appearance I asked and she echoed his dressing. Anyway, I counseled her and they’re both doing just fine in their courtship. 2 Corinthians 3:2 ‘ye are our epistle written in our hearts, known & read of all men’. Someone, somewhere out there is always looking and accessing the way you present yourself.
Finally, appearance/dressing is not optional in your quest to fine love.
- Dress smartly
- Wear a smile
- Communicate politely
- Be spiritually alert at all times.
